Common questions

Straight answers on how Leveredge works. Anything else, ask your dealer.

Do you hold my money?

No. Your account is opened and held with one of our regulated payments partners: Mark Lane, Convera or Corpay. They run the compliance checks, safeguard your funds and settle your payments and hedges. Leveredge does not hold client funds, process payments or operate as a money transmitter.

What does a dedicated dealer do?

Your dealer prices and books your trades, watches the rates you are waiting for, flags hedging opportunities and stays your point of contact as your business changes. You talk to one person who knows your business, not a call center.

Which currencies and countries can I pay?

Payments can reach 180+ countries in 100+ currencies, and you can collect from customers abroad. Tell us where you pay and get paid, and we will confirm the routes before you open an account.

How is my exchange rate priced?

Your dealer quotes the rate before you book, so you know exactly what you will pay or receive. Send us a recent transfer confirmation and we will show you the markup inside the rate you were given.

What is a forward contract?

An agreement to exchange an amount of currency on a future date, typically up to 12 months ahead, at a rate fixed today. Your cost or revenue is known in advance, whatever the market does. Forwards usually need a credit line or a deposit, and a hedge stays in place even if the deal behind it changes.

Do I have to hedge everything?

No. Many companies hedge firm commitments first, then build cover on forecasts in layers: more for the next few months and less further out. We help you set ratios that fit your margins and your cash flow.

How do I open an account?

Book a call. We review your exposure, then our regulated partner runs onboarding and compliance checks on your company, its owners and directors. Meanwhile your dealer sets up pricing and hedging for your volume and goals.

Can you help with interest rate and commodity risk?

Yes. We help you understand those exposures and the tools used to manage them, such as swaps, caps and collars for borrowing costs and hedges for fuel and metals. Availability depends on the provider and your eligibility. Our 101 guides are a good place to start.
